Our Experience
We set this up on a concrete patio and filled it in about six minutes with a garden hose. Water capacity is generous. You can fully submerge up to the neck if you crouch a bit, which is the real goal.
Cold retention surprised us. With 20 lbs of ice at 50F tap water we hit around 42F and it held there for close to an hour. Not freezer cold but plenty for a 3-5 minute plunge. The lid matters. Keep it on between sessions and you stretch ice use a lot.
Biggest pain point is draining. The bottom valve works but it’s slow. We ended up tipping ours partly over at the end to finish emptying it.
