Smart rings are the quiet option for recovery tracking: nothing on your wrist, nothing to charge every night, and they don’t get in the way of lifting. The Amazfit Helio Ring is one of the cheapest from a big brand, at about $148 on Amazon versus $299 and up for an Oura.
The catch, and it’s a real one: Amazfit’s own fine print says the Readiness insights require a Zepp Aura subscription. So it isn’t the subscription free Oura killer some reviews make it sound like.
