Red light therapy used to mean booking appointments at a clinic and paying $50+ a session. Not anymore. Panel prices have dropped enough that a solid home setup pays for itself in a couple months. We’ve tested several options across different price points, here are the ones worth your money right now.

Dual Wavelength Door-Mount Ready Timer Built In
The PRO300 hits a sweet spot that’s hard to argue with. You get both 660nm red and 850nm near-infrared wavelengths, enough surface area to cover your torso or a large muscle group, and a built-in timer so you don’t have to stare at a clock. At around $200, it’s maybe the best bang-for-buck panel on the market right now. The build quality won’t blow you away, it’s plastic, not aluminum, but it works. And honestly, that’s what matters.

Large Coverage Area Low EMF
BestQool’s 250W panel packs 100 LEDs into a taller form factor, which gives you more coverage per session. It won’t treat your whole body at once, no panel under $500 realistically does, but it covers enough surface area that you can do your back or legs without repositioning constantly. We measured low EMF readings at treatment distance (about 6 inches), which matters if you’re using it daily. Slightly cheaper than the Hooga, though the PRO300 edges it out on raw irradiance per square inch.

Wearable Hands-Free Laser + LED Combo
The Move+ Pro 2.0 isn’t a panel, it’s a wrap-style device you strap directly onto your knee, elbow, or shoulder. That’s a different approach from a big flat panel, and for joint-specific work, it’s arguably better. The laser diodes deliver more concentrated energy to the target area than LEDs alone. It’s pricey at $400, and it won’t replace a full-body panel. But if your knees are the thing holding back your training, this is worth a hard look. We weren’t expecting much and ended up genuinely impressed.
