Key Features

💪

Real Power, Cheap Price

Stalls less under firm pressure than most guns under a hundred bucks. Quads, hamstrings, glutes — it pushes through.

🔋

Six-Hour Battery

Charged it on Sunday, used it all week, only had to top it up the next weekend. The 90-minute recharge is a nice bonus.

🧰

Ten Heads in the Box

Most cheap guns ship with three. Ten lets you actually pick the right shape for the spot you’re working.

🤫

Quieter Than You’d Expect

Around 45 dB on speed 3 — about the level of a quiet kitchen. You can use it during a podcast and still hear what’s happening.

Our Experience

We picked up the TOLOCO mostly because it kept showing up at the top of every “budget massage gun” list and we wanted to see what the fuss was about. After a couple weeks of using it post-run and post-leg-day, the answer was kind of obvious. It’s not as polished as a Theragun and the build feels plasticky in the hand, but the percussion itself is solid. We tested it on knotted-up calves after a long run and it loosened things up in about three minutes — the same time a $300 gun would take.

The ten attachment heads are where the value lands. The fork head for the spine, the flat head for thighs, the bullet for trigger points — each one actually has a use, and they swap with a firm push. We did wish the carrying case was a little less flimsy, but at this price you take what you get.

Pros & Cons

What We Liked

  • Strong percussion that doesn’t stall on dense muscle
  • Battery genuinely lasts the week for casual use
  • Ten heads covers basically every body part
  • Quiet enough to use around other people

Worth Knowing

  • Carrying case latches feel cheap
  • Handle gets warm during long sessions on speed 5
  • No app — speed and pattern are manual only

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the TOLOCO good for daily use?

Yes — for the price, the build held up to about three weeks of daily 10-minute sessions in our testing without overheating or losing battery health.

How does it compare to a Theragun?

The Theragun is quieter, has app-driven routines, and stalls less on heavy pressure. The TOLOCO gets you about 80% of the way there for under a quarter of the price.

Can I take it on a plane?

Yes, in carry-on. The lithium battery is well under the FAA limit. We’ve flown with ours twice with no issue.

Final Verdict

If you’re spending under $80 on a massage gun, the TOLOCO is the safest pick we’ve tried. It won’t replace a Theragun for serious athletes, but for the casual lifter or runner who wants to dig into a stiff IT band a few times a week, it’s hard to beat.
